Specialties:

I started out as a machinist with the 474th Tactical Fighter Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. I worked with lathes, milling machines, band saws, shapers and other various tools. My job consisted of machining spare parts from blueprints and repairing broken metal components on F-111A aircraft.

I volunteered for retraining and became an administrative specialist working in the Standardization/Evaluation office also at Nellis Air Force Base. I performed mainly administrative duties but also administered and graded written examinations given to F-111A Pilots and Weapon Systems Officers.

My next assignment was with the 320th Bombardment Wing (Heavy) at Mather Air Force Base, California. I worked as an administrative specialist at the 320th Munitions Maintenance Squadron orderly room.
